John Muir Way is a 135 miles
(216 kilometres) way-marked walking trail. This is the west section of the route from Helensburg to Falkirk. The route can be walked in either direction and for those looking for a longer walking holiday it can be linked to a walking holiday on the West Highland Way.
|This walking trail
uses a mixture of public footpaths and canal towpaths. The route is mainly
low-level with moderate gradients and no seriously long climbs. The highest
point is Gouk Hill at 885 feet (270 m) above sea level.
The western section of the route is in
Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

This walking holiday connects with The West Highland Way.
